Everyone needs friends like these....

Friend of Mine is a relatively new brand which only launched last year. Designed by Aussie designer Teale Talbot, it has gained popularity fairly quickly. Judging from these pictures, it's easy to see why. Now, if only Teale was a Friend of MINE so I could get hand-me-downs every season...

Daisy Daisy

I became addicted to this scent through sheer coincidence. A customer left an entire bottle of Daisy perfume in one of our change rooms. After about three days when no one had come to claim it- we claimed it for ourselves! I spritzed this scent on every morning and as soon as the last drops had vanished from the tiny glass bottle, I knew I wasn't ready to say goodbye to this divine heady fragrance. Mr Jacobs...you can do no wrong.

I know she is 'The City' girl everyone just looooooves to hate but God she has great style. It always looks so effortlessly chic but polished and put together at the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if little blue birds fly out of her cupboard and dress her every morning!

Get Into The Groove...

Nothing is better than a night out with your best girlfriends. However, aside from the actual 'going out,' there is something I find uniquely special about the time just before you set foot in the taxi. From prepping each others hair, to borrowing mascara, I firmly believe that singing along to a playlist of songs is mandatory in the 'getting ready' phase. Here are a few to get you revved up for that night out. Hairbrush optional.

Cuff It Up

The cuff adds an edgy look to any outfit. These ones are an assortment of my latest obsessions and will work with anything from an off the shoulder black shirt to a floaty feminine cream dress. Very chic. Very versatile. Very needed in my jewellery collection- right now!
